The Crispy Carrots

The Crispy Carrots web site started out as a marketing tool, to get publishers to buy the cartoon strip. It sooned turned into a quest.
With the carrots being Birks' favourite, getting a design going that would compliment the cartoons has been a really tricky challenge. Birks basically turned into his own worst enemy. The site went through a few (!) makeovers before finally being stripped down to become what it is now.
One of the early attempts involved a logo somehow inspired by Manga, and an incredibly slow menu page. It was created right back when Birks started out learning about building web pages.
The site now uses a very nice and clean layout, as it is the cartoon strips which are the most important thing on the site, so they need to be read with ease.
